Snelle winner of commercial music top 40

Afgelopen werd wederom de top 40 reclamemuziek bekendgemaakt. We praten erover met Ruben Cusell van Wefilm in de wekelijkse rubriek over film, creativiteit en reclame.

Voting for favorite tracks was possible until November 24. The 2020 edition of the Commercial Music Top 40 was broadcast by NPO Radio 2. About 32,000 people voted this time. According to Cusell, there are several iconic commercial tracks where the association with the brand is so strong that watching the commercial is no longer necessary. Think of ’15 million people’ by Postbank.

This year, no Postbank in the Top 5, but the ANWB (People gotta move at number 5), Appelsientje (Let the sun shine in fourth place), Plus (Forever in 3) and in places 2 and 1 Interpolis. And the winner is: Snelle with Smoorverliefd.
